  这两天，广州暨大港澳子弟学校热闹了。 这两天的校园里，你可以看到学生们制作的纸飞机盘旋在操场上空，比比看谁的飞机在空中停留时间最长； 你可以看到孩子们操纵的机器人在赛道中奔跑，在各自营地中围追堵截； 你更可以看到机灵的小朋友拿着Ipad，在老师的指导下制作一个个活泼可爱的冰墩墩和各式各样的吉祥物。  Recently, ASJ has been lively. At ASJ, you can see the paper airplanes made by the students hovering over the playground. Let’s see whose airplane stays in the air for the longest time? In DJI classroom, you can see the robots controlled by the children running on the track, chasing and blocking in their respective camps. You can also see the lovely Bing Dwen Dwen and various lucky little toys made by the little children with Ipad under the guidance of the teacher. What you have seen is the preparations of the students for the first "STEAM Festival" of ASJ. They studied, discussed and raced on the school playground and in the computer room. This STEAM Festival is giving rise to a climax of students' learning of science and technology!    这是一场现代化、科技感十足的盛会，赢得了所有具备好奇心的孩子的喜爱。长达几周的准备时间，无数次失败与重来并没有冲击掉孩子们的热情，3月18日决赛日，来自小学部和中学部的20支团队在这里展示着他们Sketch Book科技节吉祥物设计比赛、Robo Master机甲大师电竞、纸飞机留空时间竞赛等激动人心的比赛项目。 This is a modern, scientific and technological event and won the love of all the curious children. Weeks of preparation, countless failures and restarts did not dampen the enthusiasm of ASJ students. In the afternoon of March 18, 2022, the final was held with great ceremony at ASJ gymnasium. 20 teams from PYP and MYP took part in the exciting competitions such as Sketch Book mascot design, Robo Master E-Sports, Paper Airplane Space Time and so on.   Robo Master机甲大师电竞比赛↑ 无人机→   这场科技节，其实也是ASJ长期实践STEAM课程的成果展。STEAM具体指代科学（Science），技术（Technology），工程（Engineering），艺术（Arts）和数学（Mathematics）。比起让孩子掌握解答具体题目的知识点，STEAM课程强调掌握思维方式和思考方法。 The STEAM Festival was an exhibition of the achievements of ASJ's long-term practice of STEAM courses. STEAM specifically refers to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Instead of teaching students to solve specific problems, the STEAM courses encourage students to master ways of thinking.  3D打印机↑ Sketch Book吉祥物设计比赛→  科技点燃梦想，创新成就未来。在智能化时代，高精尖的活儿被机器人分担，人类的创造力、高维度整合知识能力尤为重要。我校从创校便走上了STEAM的探索之路，组建了一支由多学科教师组成的STEAM教师团队，和大疆、麦高公司合作，配备简易编程工具Scratch，大疆机甲大师，S T E M （ 麦 高 ） 、 3 D 打 印 机、少年航空班等课程。ASJ注重知识与现实世界的联系，更注重学习的过程，而非体现在试卷上的知识结果，鼓励孩子们从不同学科的角度发问、思考，动手完成他们感兴趣的、并且和实际生活相关的项目。 Science and technology ignite dreams, while innovation accomplishes the future. In the intelligent age, highly sophisticated work will be finished by robots, and creativity and high-dimensional knowledge integration abilities are particularly important. Since the founding of ASJ, we keep on exploring STEAM courses and has set up a team of STEAM teachers composed of multi-disciplinary teachers. ASJ cooperates with DJI and Macgaw, offering courses such as Simple programming tools(Scratch), DJI RoboMaster, STEM, 3D printers, juvenile aviation classes and so on. ASJ emphasizes the connection between theories and the reality, and ASJ focuses more on the learning process rather than the knowledge results reflected in the examination papers. Students are encouraged to ask questions, to think from different disciplines, and to design projects that they are interested in and related to reality.  ▲现场兑换奖券 比赛之外，孩子们用编程绘画，用工程设计出美丽图案的魔方，用3D打印机打印出精湛的艺术作品，各类交互设计让孩子主动探索，动手实践，扩宽了孩子们对科技世界积极探索的视野，激发他们的科技灵感及对科技知识的求知欲望。这一切无不向我们阐明，孩子们不再是单独钻研某个学科领域，而是将艺术科学相融合，产生有价值的思考和创作。他们正逐步成为优秀的思考者和探究者。 In addition to competitions, students utilized programming to paint, utilized engineering to design Rubik's cube with beautiful patterns, utilized 3D printers to print exquisite works of art, and all kinds of interaction design for children to take the initiative to explore and practice. The festival broadens children's vision of actively exploring the world of science and technology, stimulating their scientific and technological inspiration and their desire for scientific and technological knowledge. All this makes it clear to us that the ASJ students no longer delve into a particular subject area, but integrate art and science to produce valuable thinking and creation. They will be excellent learners and pioneers in the future.  人类喜欢猎奇，这就是科学的种子。ASJ首届科技节为孩子们带来了精彩的科技体验和演示，为他们幼小的心灵播下了求知的种子，这个种子正在老师们的悉心照顾下悄悄发芽。 Men love to wonder, and that is the seed of science. The first ASJ STEAM Festival brought wonderful technological experiences and demonstrations to the children, and sowed the seeds of knowledge for their young minds.
