ASJ has established sister school relationships with 12 Hong Kong schools, including Pui Ching Middle School and Baptist Wing Lung College, to jointly promote basic education exchange and development in the Greater Bay Area.

On the morning of 5 October 2023, the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (ASJ) and Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School, Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School, Baptist Lui Ming Choi Secondary School, Christian Hong Kong Lutheran Church Lutheran Secondary School, Christian Covenant Church Kin Lok Secondary School, Maryknoll Secondary School, Fanling Salvation College, Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Primary and Secondary School, Hong Kong Pui To Primary School, Baptist Lui Ming Choi Primary School, Tai Po Baptist Public School, and Catholic Pak Tak School. The signing ceremony for the ‘Sister School’ agreement was held at Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School.

The Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students will actively discuss with its sister school in Hong Kong on teacher and student exchanges, teaching system exchanges, teaching resource sharing, and talent cultivation. Together, they will build an international education platform for students, enhance understanding and friendship between teachers and students in both places, promote the development and innovation of education in the Greater Bay Area, and actively contribute to the coordinated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Deng Qiangguang, Chairman of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students, Tan Rixu, Principal of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou), Lai Yongchun, Chief Inspector of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students(Guangzhou), Feng Yan, Executive Principal of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou), Li Qiling, Vice Principal of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou), Jin Lixian, Principal of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Dongguan), and Yao Ruji, Vice Principal of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Foshan) attended the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Tan Rixu, President of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou), delivered a welcome speech, thanking all the principals for their attendance and support, and expressing his anticipation for the exchanges and cooperation between the schools after the signing of the sister school agreement.

Deng Qiangguang, Chairman of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students, said in his speech that the establishment of this partnership between the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students and 12 primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong will promote educational exchange and integration in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a positive practice for education and talent development in the Greater Bay Area and will contribute to the improvement of education in the Greater Bay Area.

Subsequently, under the chairmanship of Zou Ting, Assistant Principal of the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou), the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students signed sister school agreements with various schools.

The Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students will take the opportunity of establishing a ‘sister school’ relationship to give full play to the advantages of both schools, enhance mutual recognition, and create an influential model sister school in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, thereby injecting new vitality into education in the Greater Bay Area.
