Lecture | Traditional culture on Campus: My school is in Lingnan

年前，暨南大学文学院吴青教授莅临广州暨大港澳子弟学校，为孩子们送上了主题为《我的学校在岭南》的专题演讲。



吴青教授是传统文化活动《经史子集中的中国》的主讲人，对国学经典深有研究。


这次，她以经史子集为钥匙，带领孩子们穿越时空，深入了解岭南的传统文化、感受岭南文化的独特之美。


Professor Wu Qing of College of Arts of Jinan University visited the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macao Students and delivered a lecture on the theme "my School in Lingnan" for the ASJ students not long before.


Professor Wu Qing is the speaker of the traditional cultural theme "Understanding China: Learning from the subset of Chinese Classics and History" and has a deep study of Classics of Sinology. She used vivid descriptions to help students to gain an in-depth understanding of Lingnan's traditional culture and feel the unique beauty of Lingnan culture.

经史子集分别指的是什么？

为什么我们要研读经史子集？


"

“经史子集”是中国古籍按内容区分的四大部类。


经：经书，指儒家经典著作，如《论语》《孟子》等。


史：史书，即正史，如二十四史等。


子：先秦百家著作，如《韩非子》《鬼谷子》等。


集：文集，即诗词汇编，如《楚辞》、道经、佛经等。


习近平总书记说：“古诗文经典已融入中华民族的血脉，成了我们的基因。”吴青教授认为,记载古诗文经典的典籍是国之瑰宝，应该活在每一个国人的心中。研读典籍，是穿越时空与圣贤对话，是不断创新中文华文经典、致敬我们的仙人。

谁住在岭南？

岭南的饮食、建筑有哪些特点？

▲吴青教授先通过中国地图展示了岭南的地理位置，说出岭南的分界线、气候特征，孩子们马上对岭南的地理位置有了清晰、深刻的印象。


▲随后，吴青教授通过民系、美食、建筑、语言等贴近生活的几个要点，全方位展示了岭南地区的特色文化。孩子们在与吴教授的问答中，在一张张精美的图画中，逐渐有了岭南地区、岭南文化的初步印象。

经史子集中的广州又是什么样的呢？

作为一所国际学校，我们把加强学生的身份认同作为重要的教学目标。


我们希望学生认识自己的国家和民族；学习、认同并欣赏本民族的文化；努力成为中国文化的传播和创新者。



讲座《我的学校在岭南》,就是一次非常好的尝试。同学们通过吴青教授绘声绘色的讲解、丰富多彩的图文资料、生动有趣的互动活动认识了岭南文化，也在心中种下了“我的学校在岭南，我能欣赏岭南文化”的种子。



感谢吴青教授，也祝愿所有暨大港澳子弟学校的学子能够以此为起点，在经史子集中、在传统文化中扬帆远航，学富五车。


As an international school, ASJ regards strengthening students' identity as an important teaching goal. Students will understand the nation, learn, and appreciate the national culture, and strive to become the disseminator and innovator of Chinese culture through daily learning.


Holding the lecture "my school in Lingnan" was a good practice. The students learned about Lingnan culture through Professor Wu Qing's vivid explanations, rich and colourful picture and text materials, and interesting interactive activities, and all the students had the consensus that “my school is in Lingnan and I have the ability to appreciate Lingnan culture".


Thanks to Professor Wu Qing for delivering such a wonderful speech. Wishing all the ASJ students can set understanding the traditional culture as a goal and read more classics in the future.
