开放日纪实| 我们期待和你踏上共同的教育旅程

夏日悠悠，一场紫荆花节，一场学者讲堂暨创新发明发布会，献礼7月的中华人民共和国香港特别行政区成立二十五周年的同时，展现了ASJ学子多姿多彩的面貌。而六月的校园开放日，我们和所有关心我们的家庭在ASJ相遇了。短短一个上午，我们接连完成了无数精彩纷呈的活动，大家得以全面了解ASJ。

涵盖了学生分享、家长分享的讲座吸引了众多学子及家长，现场座无虚席。执行校长封岩女士详细讲解了ASJ全人教育的模式、ASJ师资力量以及ASJ升学体系，致力于为国家培养出爱国爱港爱澳的新一代湾区优质人才。

金燕燕女士则深度解读了目前中学部在课程、升学方面的优势，让家长对学校有更全面的了解。而由总校长郑景亮先生、执行校长封岩女士、教学总监杨丽红女士组参与的面对面交流环节，时长比原定计划延长了两倍时间，与咨询的家庭碰撞出思维的火花。

在另外一边，同步进行的是学生热烈的体验课课堂。为了给参与的孩子们还原真实上课场景，世界名校中外老师轮番上阵，通过英语、化学、大疆等课堂展现了ASJ独特的教学风格。孩子们或专心致志，或深思谋虑，或举手发言，他们沉浸在知识的海洋中，一张张小脸上洋溢着努力向上和满足的神情。

现代化硬件标准的教室、齐全的运动设施、多彩文化生活、温馨舒适的学习食宿环境……ASJ老师为前来参观的家长们悉心讲解每一个设施，每一个功能室以及每一处用心打造的环境。校园是孩子的第二个课堂，潜移默化地影响着孩子们的内心世界，因此尤为重要。

我们通过笔试考核学生的学术能力；通过面试倾听孩子们的声音，考核学生中英文表达能力以及逻辑思维，尤其注重学生的综合能力；在这个过程中，同时观察学生的性格及综合素质，了解他是否能够适应暨大港澳子弟学校的授课模式。

我们珍惜每一个期待的目光，更期望与知识渊博、求知若渴的孩子们踏上共同的探索旅程。招生季进入尾声，本年度最后一场入学考试于6月25日开启。为方便外地学生考试，本次考试特别增加线上考试，线上考试和线下考试同步进行。

The summer has come. ASJ has held the Bauhinia Festival, the Scholar's Lecture and the innovation & invention Conference to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China in July. These events gave ASJ students chances to show themselves and express themselves. On June 11th, we met with all the families who cared about us at ASJ during the Open Day. In just one morning, we completed numerous exciting activities and we were sure that many families have a comprehensive understanding of ASJ.

The sharing lectures that involved the students’ sharing and parents’ sharing attracted many students and parents and the venue was packed. Ms. Jessica Feng, Executive Principal, explained in detail the whole-person education of ASJ, the ASJ faculty and the ASJ education system, which is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of Greater Bay Area talents who love the country and love Hong Kong and Macao.

Ms. Jin Yan Yan explained in depth the current advantages of the middle school department in terms of curriculum and further education, so that parents can have a more comprehensive understanding of ASJ.

The face-to-face Q&A session involved Mr. Cheng Kingleung, the Chief Principal of ASJ, Ms. Jessica Feng and Ms. Audrey Yang, Educational Director. The atmosphere was so warm that this session was twice as long as originally planned. All the guests have heated discussions regards education.

On the other side, the children were having enthusiastic trial classes at the same time.

In order to let the participants feel like they were having the ASJ classes that were enjoyed by the prospective students, Chinese and foreign teachers from world-famous schools took turns to show ASJ's unique teaching style through English, chemistry, DJI and other trial classes. Some of the participants were thinking, some of the participants were concentrating on the content of the class, others were raising their hands to express themselves. All of the participants were immersed in the knowledgable atmosphere and they were all satisfied.

Well-equipped multipurpose rooms, a vast range of sports facilities, colorful cultural life, vibrant and welcoming learning, catering, and residential environment…

ASJ teachers explained each facility, each function room and each environment carefully to the parents who came to visit. The campus was the second classroom for children, and it was especially important because it affected the inner world of children in a subtle way.

We assessed students' academic ability through written examinations; We listened to children's voices through interviews and assessed students' expression in Chinese and English and logical thinking, with a special focus on their overall ability. In this process, we also observed the student's personality and overall quality to find out whether he or she could adapt to the teaching mode of ASJ.

We cherish every expectant glance and look forward to embarking on a joint journey of discovery with knowledgeable and eager children. As the admissions season comes to an end, the last entrance examination of this academic year will be held on June 25. For the convenience of students who are not available to come to the campus, the online exam is specially arranged. The online and offline exams are conducted simultaneously.
