Good News | Technology Builds Dreams - ASJ Students' AchievementsScience and technology are the first productive forces. Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou), in addition to building a science and technology innovation education curriculum system to enhance students' exploratory thinking and innovation ability, has also carried out a variety of scientific and technological activities, organised various types of active participation of ASJ students in various types of information science and technology innovation competitions and achieved fruitful results, and realised the overall growth of students' independent learning, science and innovation, and the ability to explore and practice. We also organise a variety of science and technology activities. ![]() ![]() 1 National Youth Communication Science and Technology Innovation Competition In order to implement the action of improving the scientific quality of young people proposed in the Notice on the Outline of the Plan for Action on the Scientific Quality of the Whole Population (2021-2035), to cultivate a large group of young people with the potential of scientists, to popularise the knowledge of communication innovation among young people, and to set up the ideal belief of serving the country with science, China Communications Industry Association (CCIA) hosted the‘China's “Core” Helps China's Dream - National Youth Communication Science and Technology Innovation Competition’. Under the guidance of Mr Zhan Wentong and Mr Pan Weiping, our students Song Minghao and Jiang Guobang won the National Second Prize and National Third Prize respectively in the Intelligent Delivery Challenge of the National Finals of the National Youth Communication Technology Innovation Competition. ![]() ![]() 2 The 7th National Youth Drone Competition The 7th National Youth Drone Competition was selected through city and provincial competitions, with a total of 14,985 contestants from 2,532 teams from 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, making it the largest number of events, the largest area of the field, the largest number of participants, and the widest scope of participation in the competition since it was organised by the Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics of China (SAAC). Our students Huangfu Zhaoyang, Lai Jiaxing, Gao Yunfeng, Gu Jiahui and Pan Yongxuan won the First Prize in the Primary School Group of the 7th National Youth Drone Competition (Guangdong Province) in the Mecha Masters Air-Ground Co-operation Match. Mr Zhai Dongfei was awarded the Outstanding Instructor of the 7th National Youth Drone Competition (Guangdong Province). ![]() ![]() 3 Global Invention Conference China Invention Convention China (ICC) is the world's most influential invention event for primary and secondary school students. Invention Convention China is a white-listed event designated by the Ministry of Education. After a fierce competition, our student Chen Bryan won the National Bronze Award in the P category. ![]() 4 Greater Bay Area Youth Informatics Innovation Competition Recently, the results of the Grand Final of the First Greater Bay Area Youth Informatics Innovation Competition, approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, guided by the Guangdong Provincial Association of Science and Technology, and organised by the Guangdong Computer Society, were released. Chen Hongyu won the third prize in the Graphical Programming Competition. Previously, our students Zhou BaoBao, Guo FengXi, and Chen ZiXi all won the third prize in the local selection round of the competition. ![]() |
