On 10 September, the third Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students -Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students(Foshan) held a plaque unveiling ceremony and inauguration ceremony, marking the birth of a new pattern of construction and development of ASJ   ‘one door, three schools’. 2021, the century-old overseas Chinese university Since 2021, the century-old overseas university Jinan University has fully integrated the application of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao high-quality educational resources, and successfully founded three Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou) in Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Foshan, which created the ‘Jinan’ brand of co-operation in the provision of basic education. Recently, the ‘Guangdong Theme Day’ of the China International Fair for Trade in Services 2023, hosted by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and organised by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province released 11 excellent cases of trade in services in 2023, covering a number of important areas such as digital technology, industrial design, cultural trade and so on. Among them, Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou) won the ‘2023 Outstanding Case Study on Trade in Services in Guangdong’ for its innovative exploration of taking the Hong Kong curriculum as the core, national education as the foundation, using the IB curriculum concept throughout teaching, using the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination curriculum system in the senior high school stage, and providing diversified channels of further study in the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas for students, so as to promote the construction of the Model District on International Education in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area. The opening of Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (Guangzhou) marks the completion of the development of Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students in Guangzhou, Dongguan and Foshan, and the three schools will be fully integrated to give full play to the positioning of Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students   to provide quality education services for the children of Hong Kong and Macao Students. The three schools will also fully integrate and give full play to the positioning of ‘JIU Hong Kong and Macao Children's Schools’, providing quality education services for overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and expatriates, and making new contributions to the prosperous development of the Greater Bay Area.



The Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students(Foshan) is located in Nanhai, which is a key educational project for the province in 2023, with a total investment of about 350 million RMB, covering an area of 46 acres. The school can accommodate nearly 1,200 students, covering pre-school to high school, and is the first 15-year consistent School for Hong Kong and Macao Students in Foshan.



Since its establishment, Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students(Foshan) has continued to promote the exchange of talents between Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Foshan. In the future, the school will give full play to the advantages of the ‘one door, three schools’ pattern, provide more services benefiting Hong Kong and Macao people, and enhance the happiness and sense of belonging of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots and their children.
