Qingming Festival Holiday Notice of the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macau Students
Qingming Festival Holiday will start from April 2nd (Saturday) to April 5th (Tuesday) and there will be no classes during the holiday.
The arrangement for leaving school on April 1st are the following.
1.The students who take the school bus will leave the school by bus at 3:30PM.
2.The students who return home on their own or are picked up by guardians should leave the school at 3:30PM.
Classes will be resumed on April 6th (Wednesday).
1.Boarders should return school between 5PM and 6:30PM on April 5th while the boarders who choose not to return school during this period should contact the homeroom teacher to state the reasons in advance.
2.The day students should return school between 8AM and 8:15AM on April 6th.
Please pay attention to the following points.
1.Please stay local to celebrate Qingming Festival and if unnecessary, please do not leave Guangdong province or go out. If you have been to cities outside Guangdong province, prefecture-level cities with local pandemic reports within 14 days and medium-risk or high-risk areas, please refer to the "Attached Guidelines" and take the initiative to report the situation to the homeroom teachers.
2.6 areas in Shenzhen and Dongguan in Guangdong province are still listed as medium-risk or high-risk areas. (Please refer to the latest pandemic risk level reminder issued by ‘Guangzhou CDC’ for detailed information.) It is highly recommended that students living in Shenzhen and Dongguan do not return to their residence during the festival. Students who have been to these two cities and other medium-risk or high- risk areas during the festival must return to school with a proof of a negative Covid-19 test in the preceding 48 hours.
3.By 8AM on March 27th, Shanghai-related pandemic has spread to Shenzhen, Dongguan, Shanwei, Qingyuan and Maoming in Guangdong province, with a total of 26 reported cases. At present, the pandemic in Shanghai is still in the developing stage and the risk of pandemic transmission is very high, so please avoid contact.
4.People who have fever, dry cough, fatigue, hypogeusia, hyposphresia, stuffy nose, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, pain or diarrhea and other symptoms suspected as COVID-19 should initiatively report to their residential committees (township committees), their work units, or the hotels in time. The ones who have the above symptoms should reach the nearest fevered clinics and have a medical condition check. Please do not use public transportation to reach hospital and please take personal protection during the visit.
5.Please strengthen self-protection outside, such as wearing a mask properly, paying attention to personal hygiene and avoiding touching eyes, mouth and nose with dirty hands. Try to choose outdoor activities and avoid activities in places with crowds, closed spaces and poor ventilation. If you have to go to various indoor entertainment places and tourist attractions, you must make an appointment in advance, enter in an orderly manner, and reduce the time you stay in closed places. Also, you should follow pandemic-prevention rules such as checking body temperature, showing your Yuekang codes, keeping social distance and getting vaccinated initiatively.
6.Please stay safe during holidays, learn and memorize the safety reminders such as travel safety, home safety, power and fire safety, network security and anti-fraud and so on. All teachers,
students and staff shall pay attention to personal safety and follow the pandemic prevention guidance issued by the government. Moreover, please exercise properly and keep reading.
7.Students who handed in the application for staying in ASJ at weekends are not allowed to stay in school during Qingming Festival holiday. Please make arrangements in advance and report the whereabouts to the homeroom teachers.
