On October 27th, the 2nd round interview of postgraduate interns jointly organized by the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macau Students and School of Foreign Studies of Jinan University was successfully held in ASJ. ASJ received a total of about a dozen qualified resumes, and after short-listing and interviews, 11 excellent applicants were selected to participate in the 2nd round interview.
During the 2nd round interview, Chief Principal Cheng King Leung, Executive Principal Jessica Feng and Director of ASJ School Office Crystal Zou came to communicate with the candidates. Chen Qiaojun from Primary and Elementary Education Office of JNU also attended the ceremony. Jason Zhou, Yanyan Jin, Director of Middle School Department, and Grace Yang, Lisa Ding, Director of Primary Department, Daniel from Primary department, Thomas and Maco from Middle School Department were the interviewers in the 2nd round interview. The professional knowledge, oral expressions, moral cultivation, career planning, flexibility and adaptability of candidates were comprehensively assessed. Every candidate was confident and mature, which showed the spirit of Jinan University and impressed all interviewers.
It’s my honor to be invited to this interview. In the preparation for it, I had a deeper understanding of myself and seriously considered my career plan. I know that there are still a lot of things for me to learn and the work to be done may be not easy, but I’m ready to handle them together with my partners. All the teachers in the ASJ that I met are so nice, looking forward to join you.
The beautiful environment and advanced equipments of ASJ create superior conditions for pedagogy. The cultural and educative atmosphere persists around the school. I am very grateful that I can be part of teacher teams and look forward a mutual development in the coming future!

Hello everyone! I am Erin, a postgraduate student from Jinan University. Once hearing the intern project of ASJ from our teacher, I am interested in it greatly and eager to become one of its members. Hence, I am so delighted that I can pass the reexamination and join in the ASJ family. I am a patient and optimistic girl who is fond of dancing and drawing in my spare time. Meanwhile, I also like to communicate and make friends with students. As an intern, I hope to get along well with colleagues and students here. I will do my utmost to finish the work assignment wholeheartedly and strive to become a responsible and qualified teaching assistant.
It’s an honor to visit ASJ and participate in the second-round interview. There, I have met many excellent interviewers and interviewees. Their confidence and calmness have deeply impressed me and made me realize that I still have much to learn. During the group discussion, I have heard many insightful questions and quick-witted answers, and learned a lot from them. Moreover, each teacher or the principal of the school has admirable characteristics that deserve respect. And I feel very honored and lucky to pass the interview. I will keep a warm and studious attitude in my internship and strive to do a good job!
